About the artist:

Nizami Bandhu Qawwal are an Indian musical group composed of Ustad Chand Nizami, Shadab Faridi and Sohrab Faridi Nizami and are also known as the Nizami Brothers. They perform Qawaali which was written by the poet Amir Khusro in honour of Nizamuddin Auliya. They have been featured in the song “Kun Faya Kun” from the movie “Rockstar (2011)” performing at the Nizamuddin Dargah, along with actor Ranbir Kapoor. They have also been featured in the movie “Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015)” on the track “Aaj Rang Hai” written by poet Amir Khusro. Nizami Bandhu and their family use to sing at the shrines in India for centuries and in the starting of the twentieth century this family started performing outside shrines such as weddings, private mehfils and movies.
