To ensure your upcoming release receives the best possible placement and editorial support, please adhere to the following guidelines and platform-specific requirements.

📅 Critical Timelines & Scheduling

Avoid Weekend/Holiday Releases: Do not schedule high-priority content for release on weekends or public holidays. Streaming platforms do not update editorial playlists or offer promotional support on these days, which will severely limit your release's visibility.
Lead Time: Please upload all assets and metadata at least 20 days prior to your target release date to allow sufficient time for ingestion and pitching.

1. JioSaavn Requirements

Verification is Mandatory: You must have a verified Artist Profile to be eligible for pitching.

2. Spotify Requirements

Spotify for Artists (S4A): Ensure your profile is claimed and verified. Before the release drops, you must update the following in your S4A dashboard:
- Visuals: Update your Artist Profile Picture and set your "Upcoming Album" banner.
- Info: Refresh your Artist Bio and ensure social media links are current.
Engagement Assets:
- Clips: Upload short, vertical videos (under 30 seconds) via S4A to build hype and connect with fans.
- Canvas: Upload a looping visual (3–8 seconds) for the track. This significantly increases share rates.
Post-Release Protocol: Once the track is live, you (and the label) should post on social media and explicitly tag @spotifyindia to acknowledge support and increase visibility.
